Our Terry Fox Walk

Terry Fox Walk

Walking through OdessaToday, we had our annual Terry Fox Walk through the town of Odessa. The weather was beautiful, the children were enthusiastic and the overall experience was fantastic!

Our goal this year is to surpass our $1500 in donations we received last year. So far, we are well on our way.

One of the highlights of today, was seeing our Junior and Intermediate students walking hand in hand through the town. Our older students were incredibly responsible, fun and caring. It was a long walk, but even our 3 year old kindergarten children made it back to the school with a smile on their faces. We celebrated our walk with freezies and our Kindergarten to grade 6 students received a "foot" to put on their character necklaces.

We saw a lot of our neighborhood friends and family who cheered us along our way. We chanted "If I say Terry, you say fox, Terry, Fox, Terry, Fox". Mrs. Beattie's class was the loudest cheering squad and will be sharing their cheer on the announcements on Monday.

Keep bringing in your donations, TIGERS! Let's beat cancer!
