In this time of Covid-19, many more students and families have maintained important connections through social media platforms. Whether connecting to families or friends, social media platforms have enabled us to maintain relationships when we haven’t been able to get together in person. For elementary students, social media use is a part of learning how to appropriately interact with their world in a new way. The use of social media by children should always be monitored by parents.
