Dear Tiger Families,
The Grade 1 classes had Ms. Mackenzie, a Metis artist and educator visit and share drumming, songs and stories last week. They learned that animals have unique gifts and they use their gifts to help others. It was a fantastic hands on learning experience for the students.
The Grade 5 and 5/6 classes had a fantastic visit to Gould Lake Outdoor Centre. They had the opportunity to do some hiking and then they cooked a meal over a fire. All of the students and staff came back happy, smiling and smelling like a camp fire.
We are looking forward to an opportunity to enjoy some outdoor fun this week at our Odessa Winter Olympics on Friday. Please make sure that your child comes to school on Friday dressed warmly for some winter fun!
