Dear Tiger Families,

2026February20 I hope everyone had a wonderful Family Day weekend! I am hopeful that there will not be any more bus cancellation days this school year, but there is always a possibility they will occur. In conversation with families it has come to my attention that not all families realize that they must report their children absent on bus cancellation days through Safe Arrival. If you do not report your child's absence as "Inclement Weather" on Safe Arrival on Bus Cancellation days then your child will be marked absent instead of excused. I highly encourage families to remember to report when their child is absent due to inclement weather. It is not done automatically.

We all had a fantastic time at the dance and bake sale housed by the Grade 5, 5/6 and 6 classes. The number of donations to the bake sale were incredible!!! We cannot thank you enough for your support of this event. The funds raised are going towards reducing the cost of the Grade 5, 5/6 and 6 class trip to the Blue Jays Game.

Students will begin to suggest names for our new Odessa Tiger this week. They will have the opportunity to come up with lots of ideas. A team of staff will select a few options and we will hold a school wide vote the following week. The name of our new Tiger will be unveiled at the March Success Assembly. For now, the unnamed tigers has been appearing at events throughout out the school including the bake sale and dance on Friday.
